xp pro versus xp home compatibility

[Nancy]

I'm a new user on xp pro. Our main system has 98SE and I
have networked a laptop to it loaded with xp pro. If I
upgrade the main system from 98 SE to XP Home, will it be
100% compatible or will I wish that I had gone to XP Pro.
At this point I don't use all the features of Pro but will
probably have a digital camera in the near future. Any
suggestions are welcome
