How can I selectively remove icons from the Quick Launch

Highlight the icon, right click and select delete.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for your response. The problem is that the icons
reappear on the next startup.
Conversely, if I add icons that I do want, they don't
appear on next startup.
I was thinking more in terms of adding and removing them
from the registry.
Regards,
Alan

Hi Alan,
The shortcuts in Quicklaunch are stored in the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
You can add/remove shortcuts in the folder and the changes should reflect in the Quicklaunch bar.
