Anyone knows how to force a program to minimize to tray instead of the
taskbar?

this one is GREAT, I always have it on since it does many tricks (including
transparency) and has a small foot print, and is free!

Thanks a lot for your help. I also found another one: Icon Coral
(http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,1603,00.asp).

But I was really wondering if there was a way to force a program to minimize
to tray by just setting a value in the registry - as last versions of
Outlook do, you simply write to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 10.0 \ Outlook \
Preferences
Data Type: REG_DWORD
Value Name: MinToTray
Data: 1 (0 to disable MinToTray)
