Is the Sidewinder game pad pro compatible with XP Pro and
are the keys able to be mapped

Hi, only if you've a USB version and 4.0 of the software. Other than that
the only mapping you can do is through the games themselves....

Sorry I'll add to that, gameport versions will run on XP but without being
able to use the profiles......
