Installing 2nd drive

I have moved a physical drive (with data) and fat32 from
a win98 machine to xp pro as a 2nd drive.

When i go to disk management in xp i see the disk but it
has no drive # assigned and when i right click on the
graphic i get only 1 option (delete partion)

If I do this do i lose my data?

any sugestions?

What else does it say about the disk in Disk Management.
Does it say Online and Healthy or something else?
