Cd-Rom Problem !

Theres an yellow ! on my two cdr drives ! When I un-install them and search
for
new hardware, I get them to work if I hurry myself and use the drives, but
the next time a start up windows they`re gone again.... It`s like they get
detected two times, the second time they dissapear again.. And there`s no
upperfilters and lowerfilters line in my registry.....

See if this helps. Perhaps you are looking in the wrong place for the
registry entries?

See the second "problem" (read the caveats)
Run the provided registry patch

That should fix your problem (basically, a filter driver is missing or
non-operational, the registry patch will delete the filter drivers
references for your cdrom(s))
