programs in start menu

hi can anyone help. i have windows xp. i have alot of
programs. when i click on start and go to programs i
can't see them all, how can i make them smaller. thank you

Right click on >Start>Properties>Start men>.Customize>advanced>click on

Have you tried "Show small icons in Start menu"?

Right-click on Task Bar and select Properties.
Enable "Show small icons in Start menu".
