I have XP Pro on an 80GB HDD, which I am finding a bit
unmanagable. I would like to reduce C: to about 20GB and
put relatively static data in other partitions.

Do I have to buy Partition Magic (or similar) or is there
another option? Other postings in this group have said to
right-click on My Computer and select Manage (for new
disks, I think). I could not find anything in that area.

Thanks in advance
Jim

The only way you can delete, create, resize or merge existing =
partitions,
and not harm your existing Windows XP installation, is to use
a third-party partitioning program such as Partition Magic 8
(www.powerquest.com).
