hi.
just done installing my new Abit NF7 mobo, fitted with an
Athlon XP2600+.

everything's OK, except for these:
1. i have two 256mb 400mhz DDR's, on the dual DDR slots.
why does it detect DDR333 ?
2. pressing the power button causes a reset!
this isnt cords mis-placing - Abit has this on their FAQ,
but their solution (reseting the CMOS) doesnt help.

help anyone?

I am going to take a wild guess here and say its because your cpu runs at
333mhz. Are you trying to oc? I think 333 will be the default setting with
the cpu that you are using.

Also there are two different 2600's the one with the 266mhz fsb and the
other with 333 fsb. But i am going to stick by my 1st reply.
