Just performed an install of XP last night and was
dazzled. Neatest thing I've ever seen, despite a few
glitches.
During the "Preparing Installation" phase, I got a
message, 4 times actually, that stated 'Setup cannot copy
the file: esent.dll
h323.tsp
mmutilse.dll
tapiui.dll
Then during "Installing Start Menu" I got the message 3
more times: msdaora.dl_
HelpCtr.es_
heart.wm_
On the first occurrence, after several retries, I cleaned
the CD, but no help. I then chose the option to skip,
hoping it was not a critical file. I did the same with
the other six, and the install completed. Now I'm in a
catch-22, because the HelpCtr.es_ is needed to get to my
product id to get install help from Microsoft.
Can the missing files be downloaded from somewhere, then
added easily?
