Turning the speakers on automatically

How do you set up so that the speakers automatically come on when the computer is turned on?

Unless you leave the power turned-on for your speakers, there
is no automatic way of turning them on.

You didn't bother to describe your hardware. So all you get is
generalities. Leave you speakers turned on all the time. What is it
that you do now to "turn on" you speakers? Power them up? So why not
put the computer and speakers on the same power strip or UPS so they
both come on at the same time? How do you get your monitor to "turn on"
when you power up? Or printer?
