MSN hotmail

Has anyone else had problems with hotmail? I can't delete porno emails
which appeared in my inbox. When I try to delete them they show up in trash
but do not leave my inbox. I have tried to make contact with microsoft via
bug report and phone without success. Any ideas to clean out my inbox?

Hi Frank,

I think you should try setting up your Safe List which is in the Options
page. That way, only e-mails from people you know will arrive in your inbox,
all other e-mails will go to your Junk Folder - or you can make them be
automatically deleted.

set up filters so that the common smut words get deleted automatically

Hotmail is also known as spam central. You will always get porn spam
there, and offers to enlarge your anatomy, and whatever dodgy deals are
about in spades. If you must use webmail, try something like Yahoo mail,
which at least has decent filters. Oh, and munge you email address when
you post to newsgroups.

Tip: You can customize your OE Toolbar to add a Preview button allowing you
to toggle back and forth.

I can't believe that you found these 6 newsgroups but didn't find...

Or just simply use custom filters. After spending about 30 seconds to set
up, I usually receive only one spam email a week.
