Hi,
I just upgraded from Windows ME to XP. As a result, my
Norton Anti Virus won't work, re-install or uninstall.
Pops up a message error 1606: Could not access network
location and cannot find navaspvc.exe. I've heard there
is a plug in you can download from Microsoft to help
programs work after the upgrade?
How best to proceed?
Thanks!!

Hello
Your going to have to do a clean install at this point because
you were suppose to remove Norton's before doing the upgrade
which it told you to do, what your problem is now that files
are still in oyur registry and unless you really know what to
do your going ot have problems.

Thanks for the replies. So, you are suggesting a re-
install of Windows XP? I can't reinstall the NAV at this
point because it won't read the disk and pos up the error
message when I try to reload or uninstall. So I wouldn't
be able to uninstall the NAV before the Windows XP
reinstall.
