Hi
I have just bought a new pc with WindowsXP home. I have
it networked to my old computer Windows 98. I need to
know if I need to put an anti virus program on the client
computer or just the host computer?
Thanks
Sam

On any PC that connects to the internet or gets email!
If you want something free, try AVG from www.grisoft.com.
Only my notebook has zero antivirus software at present, and that's because
she so rarely goes out with me! When she does, she does NOT open
attachments and receives only plain text email!
I have antivirus software for her, after her recent format, I just haven't
put it back on yet. Since she and I are 'out' right now, I'm just being
careful.

Anti V should be on all systems - as u may use your other system for email,
IM's etc which can all contract viruses.
