Hangs at sign-in

Is it just me, or does anyone else hang at sign in? my contact list is full
but i dont think that should be the cause of the problem... when signing in,
it will hang for up to a minute, and then i'll get a slew of popups saying
the contacts have signed in as it'll allow me the use of MSN.
Any comments/familiar situations?

This is actually just a "timing issue" with regards to the speed of your PC and when the
server is sending your contact list, not much you can do about this.
