I keep getting this msg when I'm in genealogy.com
subscription. But I can'y use the subscription because it
kicks me out.
<The instruction at "0x6358601e" referenced by memory at
0x0000004c. The memory could not be read. Click on OK.>
Then comes the error msg to send report and terminates
the program.

Click START.
Click RUN.
Type this (without quotes): "cmd" and click OK.
Type this: "chkdsk c: /v/r" and press ENTER.
It will say a bunch of stuff. Ignore all that and type a letter "Y" and
press ENTER.
Type "exit" and press ENTER.
Re-boot the computer. Sit there & watch, and do not press any keys.
Please post a follow-up.

>Ron,
I just finished the verification you asked me to do. It
said volume is clean and rebooted itself.
This seems to be a problem I'm only having with my user
name "Mom" and when I clicked on Internet Explorer it
kicked me out. It says<The instruction at "0x71702b45"
referenced memory at "0x03730e58." The memory could not
be read. OK to terminate program. Click OK.
The error msg in the report is:
c:\Docume~1\mom\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER28.tmp.dir00
\appcompat.txt.

Hmm. Brandy, it's difficult to remote-diagnose problems like this...AND the
fix is sometimes akin to killing an ant with a mallet. So, rather than give
you a mallet, go here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q318378
and follow "Method 1", steps 1 and 2. Rather than drive on from that point
[unnecessarily], please post back the result of your experiment.
Regards,
Ron
