I don't know, as mine is configured the same way. However
as the new drive is now active and the boot drive, it
doesn't seem to be a problem. Is your EIDE cable
correctly installed and have you correctly configured the
new drive as master and the old drive as slave or both as
cable select? Does your BIOS correctly identify the new
drive? How old is your old drive?
If all this is okay than you may have to reinstall XP but
on top of the existing one. This could resolve any
corruptions that may have occurred in the Disk Copy
process. This will mean updating to SP1 and using Windows
Update to bring it up to scratch again. It doesn't mean
you will have to reinstall everything else.
