Hi,

I found a startup program and I want to delete the program. C:\Program
Files\MS-Connect\Portal\portal.html. Gone to "Customize Notification" and
there seems no way I can get it to be deleted.

Thanks,
Michael B Deffendoll Jr.

Hi,

I think that the statement below "Why do I get the feeling this guy is a
Linux troll?" is a very good commits!

Does any one have any good comments that will resolve the problem!

Well you could look for it in the registry. Or try msconfig and choose not
to launch it.

Still does not explain your comment of "Why do I get the feeling this guy is
a Linux troll?" If I used that at any place I was employed I would have
gotten a pick slip on the spot!

Michael

To be clear, that comment did not come from me, I saw your post and was
trying to offer some assistance.

And now that I realize you also have the Outlook issue, I wonder if the two
arent interrelated in some way. Safe mode with networking would be a good
test as that other application shouldnt load and we might be able to see if
the desktop is effected.
