files from web automaticly saved as fireworks documents...want quicktime

how do i change the setting for saving images from the
web. they automaticly use fireworks which makes a larger
file. i would like quicktime, or whatever the normal
default setting is.

What are you trying to save off? Macromedia apparently holds that file
association, you could manually change it in File Types in explorer or you
could try removing it in the Fireworks GUI.
