I have a new printer and I have recently been informed
that there was something wrong with the USB port: it was
not detected.

So, I went to the device manager to enable the USB port
when I found that there WAS not USB port. I plugged the
USB cord in and still nothing changed/happened.

My printer is the plug and play type.

Please respond ASAP. Thank you, your help is much
appreciated.

Go into your computers bios setup and see if you can enable your usb ports.
If you never gone to your computers bios setup, this is done while you turn
on your system, depending on your system manufacture, sometimes the screen
says hit DEL, F1, ESC, F10(Compaq) for setup. Reading your system manual may
help you.

Thanks
