350watt power supply DISSASTER!

yep, yer mistake was buying a generic power supply.

the label says 350W, but most times generics are not what
they claim.

Yep,

I had an Antec 350 watt PS go south with this same motherboard... It was
running for 4 months prior to going up in smoke. It even sits behind a
Belkin UPS so it seemed strange but components can fail if driven hard for
too long I guess. Nothing was damaged but the PS thankfully. Now I run a
400 watt Antec and have had no problems yet with any of the other
components.
