Scanrom TSR not responsive at shutdown after Auto Update

I get the message that Scanrom TSR is not responsive and
won't shut down unless I end task. This never happened
until I installed the last automatic updates from MS. I
am running XP Pro. Would appreciate any input. Thanks.
