Hi people!

I have a problem with my Acer TM427 notebook. The battery
seems to be charged, at least that's what WinXP tells me,
but as soon as I plug out the powersupply cable, my
computer switches off.
Does some one have an idea what could be wrong or what I
could change to be able to use my notebook
again "unplugged"?

Kind regards

David

How old is the battery? At one year, a large percentage of batteries
are dead. At two years most are terminal. This is the usual sign of a
dead battery. You might try removing and reseating the battery, but it
is probably dead.
