>-- Hi,
First of all, did your Friend set the old HD up as the
Slave or did he set it up as the Primary Hard drive. It
makes a difference. Also is the new system, the same as
the old one, ie win98 or win xp or what. I am not sure ,
but the old Hard drive may not be compatable with the new
system he has now. It may be, that in order to read the
files on the old HD, he would need that system to do so.
That is my own humble opinion. I hope it is of help to you.
