I spoke to a tech at Earthlink who had the same thing
happen to him! It's neither a virus nor a program, but
rather someone using a "back door" into our computers.
Pretty scary stuff.

There is a "bug" on XP that Microspft recently detected.
Go to microsoft.com and "downloads" and it's the #4 most
popular download called "Windows XP Security Patch: Buffer
Overrun in RPC Interface Could Allow Code Execution".
Load it on your computer.

Also, the technician had me go to "start", "all
programs" "startup" and make sure that nothing strange was
there. In my case the "bugs" 1528, 3432 and 736 were
there. He told me to right click and delete them and then
restart the computer and so far, so good (knock on wood).
I hope that this solution helps your problem as well, and
if we can stop these one at a time, it will be worth it.

Good luck,
Amy

XP.
