I am a new user of MSN messenger v 6.2 and I have some problems of multiple
language since I installed this program. The file menu and other items are
all in English but the left hand side icons for MSN alert, MSN shopping and
MSN meeting are in Danish. As well as MSN Home also comes msn.dk. Google
also come in Danish when I clicked to change in English is also not working.
I trusting here someone can help me to fix these problems.

Greetings,

Not quite sure what's going on with Google (it will detect that your IP is in Denmark and
redirect you to the Danish page), but in terms of Messenger, it's displaying these in Danish
because your Passport settings are set to Denmark.

To correct, simply edit your Passport regional settings here:
https://register.passport.net/editprof.srf
and change your settings to an English speaking country (UK, US, etc.).

Thank Jonathan Kay.
Messenger is working but the Google is still having problem. Even thought I
changed the address to www.google.com it goes to http://www.google.dk .

Hi Cael,

Yes, it does that automatically. If you go to:
http://www.google.com/ncr
it should take you and set a cookie to leave you in the English one. Obviously this isn't
Google Support, so I don't know much more about it than that.

Hi Jonathan Kay,

It works now, it is on the Google toolbar. When I changed there then it
works but without this toolbar it does not work.

Hi Cael,

I honestly really don't know -- I haven't really investigated how Google works in this
regard.
