Missing task bar [Archive]

Can't find the taskbar...ctrl+esc is not working. Does
anyone have a clue as to what might have happened?

press alt +ctrl +del and end any applications or processes that are explorer
or open folders.
then from the task manager go FILE and NEW TASK and type EXPLORER
press enter

the shell will be restarted and your taskbar will emerge
