"A HI-SPEED USB device is plugged into a non-HI-SPEED USB
hub." This is the error I receive while installing my DVD
burner and my external Hd. I have all Windows XP Hotfixes.
What is the problem???

This is caused by you placing a USB 2.0 device on a USB 1.1 port or a USB
1.1 hub or using USB 1.1 cables (some 1.1 cables will transfer at 2.0 speeds
but many are very unreliable at that speed) to connect the device to the
computer. It is not a driver problem.

You will still be able to use the device but it will not read or burn at
optimum speeds (and may not bur DVD at all).

You can purchase a USB 2.0 PCI card for a desktop or a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card
for a laptop and install it and drivers to enable this DVD burner to enable
its best speed.
