Need Help! I have installed a 200 Gig Western Digital
Hard drive as a slave to my 30 Gig Maxtor. I have
partitioned the 200 Gig Hard Drive into 137 and 63
respectively. My computer only recognizes the first
partition of 137 and not the other 63. What could be
causing this problem? I want to be able to access the
other partition and can't.
Please help.
Thank you.

The only drive size limitation is a function of your motherboard.
You need to determine how large a drive your motherboard is actually
capable of supporting without the use of a controller card. =
Additionally,
a drive that size must be formatted NTFS only and SP1 installed.

What imposes the requirement for NTFS formatting?

I just called the Tech Support line at Promise Technology,
and they said that there is no requirement for NTFS formatting
in order to use their Ultra 133 TX2 controller card. They said
that any Windows formatting would work. Was there at one
time a controller card that did require NTFS?
