Greetings fellas,
I had my 2 computers networked and sharing a local printer on one of the
computers and all of a sudden it stopped working. Here is my situation:
1 computer running XP Pro. 1 computer running XP Home. Deskjet printer is
connected to the Pro machine.
Both computers are connected via a router/firewall.
I can ping each machine from the other one. Firewall settings are good. IPs
are correctly listed in the trusted zone, which is why I can ping with no
problem.
But, I cannot access the Shared folders of the other computer (both ways)
and my Home machine cannot print to the printer on the Pro machine
(anymore).
It just all of a sudden stopped working. Any ideas?
