Norton antivirus software is active on the PC & updated to
8-5-2003; PC scanned with no errors found

Norton disk utility found no disk errors but not reliable
with NTFS

hard drive was replaced one month ago due to hardware
failure; entire software system reloaded

see many posts with this message via google search but no
sound technical answers

One post suggested setting CMOS HD setting to autodetect

Technical suggestions anyone?
