files not accessible

I re-loaded my XP Pro operating system after losing some
drivers and after the setup completed, the folder My
Documents is not accessible. The error message is: "rev
is not accessible Access is denied"
I had a password for user "rev" but when I tried to reuse
the password it created another "rev" user.
I've tried the files sharing options and nothing allows
me to open, explore, move, or copy this folder - all
attempts get the same error message.

Any ideas would be appreciated
