Right click menu faults

When I browse websites in WinXP Pro, I.E. 6.0 my right click menu still
displays some of the options from some previously installed software
which I have removed some time ago.

I removed the software using the Control Panel - Add Remove Programs,
but this has failed to remove some options of software that I had
installed prior.

How do I remove these options in my right click menu? I presume I will
need to go into RegEdit (which I am a total novice, so thorough
instructions appreciated.)
