View Full Version : Dual Mice

I have an XP Pro machine with a PS 2 trackball.
I prefer trackballs, but with increasing frequency I am needing to use a
regular (cordless) mouse for some more detailed graphics work.
Will XP let me plug a USB mouse in and run both simultaneously or will I
need to plug and unplug them when I switch?
Thanks

Thanks, but I want to go the other way around. Two mice on one PC and I'd
prefer not to have to reboot or plug and unplug the mouse to switch.

I have two optical mice. A cordless one whose receiver is attached to a USB
port and a corded one that's attached to a PS/2 port. Both work just fine.

You can connect as many (with limits for those of you with hundreds of
keyboards or mice =) ) keyboards and mice to the system that you want. The
system will see them all as one device.
