When I boot my computer the My Documents folder is open on the desktop is
there a way to shut this off?

Hi Ken,
It depends: Check under Folder Options that you don't have restore opened
folders upon boot and go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Change the key that reads:
C:\Windows\System32\Userinit.exe,C:\Windows\System 32\Userinit.exe
To:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,
This problem can be caused by the DlDer Trojan. More information here:

Hi Kelly,
I look at your suggestions and they were all set correctly, the link for the
Trojan does not work also I did a search for the D1Der on the Symantec web
site and did not find a thing.
