Hi
i am trying to clone an xp image to several machines (i
have a site license) but there are several variants of
motherboards and the clone works (using ghost) until you
try to boot for the first time and it hangs on mup.sys ,
if you place the hard drive in the machine the clone was
taking from it works but in any other variant (very
similar only slightly different model motherboards) it
doesnt. i believe it is to do with sysprep and microsoft
security to stop illegal copies of software being created,
is there any way round this because the clone master has
over 100 programs on it all of which i dont want to have
to install individually on each computer , i have all the
correct education site licenses so its not illegal to
clone them but it is doing my head in. Any advice on how
to solve this problem would be very much appreciated.
