Hi,
I am attempting to locate the following error message.
Please point me in the right direction if this is not the
correct newsgroup.
My cousin has a HP pavillion. It was purchased in 2000.
Monday when she finished searching the net she used the
on/off button to shut off the computer. She says she
usually turns the computer off this way. When she tried
to use the computer the next day it began the booting
process, but she received an error message <Windows
root>/system32/hal.dll.
Please help. THe warranty has expired and The system
recovery (F10) is not diong the job.
If anyone has info or could point me in the right
directio we would sincerely appreciate it.
