Recently I posted a question about the problem of a printout 90degrees out
of phase.
We found the solution to be a possible bug in the printer set-up part of
WindowsXP.

To create a new page size press
Start/Settings/Printers&Faxes/File/ServerProperties.
Then tick the "create new form" box, which enables the page size parameters.

Originally, we had done this successfully for a 12"wide x 8.5"deep multipart
paper form.

However on having to completely reinstall WindowsXP something went wrong and
the sizes in the boxes above changed places, the width now becoming the
depth, and we were unable to correct this because when exiting the settings
screen the sizes promptly reversed themselves again.

The solution was to delete this original 12" x 8.5" form and start again
with the steps above, changing the form-size name, just to be sure.

We have used the "portrait" orientation in the XP above, and in the final
application (Access2000 forms.)

Many thanks to all who replied.
