deleted files from A: drive

When you delete files from the C:\ drive they go into the
recycle bin for future recovery. How do you recover files
deleted from the A:\ drive from your desktop?

Files deleted from floppy drive do not go to Recycle Bin; they are deleted
permanently.

This is incorrect information. Go to http://hccweb1.bai.ne.jp/~hcj58401/
download the file there and run it. Go to the folder specified in the
Extract To location. Run the program there. Save the files to a folder on
your hard disk drive to prevent overwriting data on the floppy.

when you delete files from a floppy you can't get them back or un delete.
It has nothing to do with NOT over writing files at all.

That utility will work on floppies and recover deleted files.

No, that's not correct. Undelete utilities work on floppies just
as they work on hard drives.
