I need to know if I convert a basic disk to a dynamic
disk does that delete whats on the disk? Also if I have
ex. Disk_1 C: Drive Volume 1 (c:)
D: Drive Volume 2 (d:) and I want to format
D: Drive Volume 1 will that delete the whole disk if not
how do I do this? Thanx.

You do not need a dynamic disk unless you are using a RAID controller. In
fact, your performance in most instances will be degraded by running a
dynamic disk in a non-RAID configuration.
