View Source -Screwed up

[BuySell]

Using Win XP Professional operating system and when in IE6 and viewing a web
site.., clicking right mouse, view source, I get the contents of my C drive.
At one time, I would get nothing so a friend tried something with regedit
and it now
displays the contents of c> I like to view the HTML code..
He does not know what he did,, great guy.. lol
Can you please
share how I can fix this. I am not a techie, so please be patient... I
understand we need to use REGEDIT

What do you mean right clicking mouse? Can you left click on the word 'view'
and select 'source'?

Hi, I had tried this and it still displays the contents of my Desktop.
Something was changed in regedit and don't know what he did. I'm trying to
avoid reinstalling the whole operating system...

Did you try to restore to a time or date before your friend screwed you up?
You should not change the registry with regit unless you know absolutely
what you are doing.
