WinXP won't detect Win2K computer via IrDa

Hi. I am trying to connect my 2 laptops which are Windows
2000 and Windows XP. I cannot change either of the
Operating Systems. I try to use a IrDa link between them,
but my XP machine won't detect the Windows 2000 one. The
windows 2000 can detect the Windows XP machine, but only
for short ammounts of time. The IR ports work fine with
my Nokia, on both machines.

Any help would be much appreiciated...
