I have got two hard drives on my pc both are standard IDE
connection. My C drive has windows on it and d drive has
games etc on. Basically me C drive is on the way out so I
have bought a new Serial ATA which I have installed and
is recognised in Windows.

I need to clone the disk on to the new one, but seeing it
has the registry, boot sector etc I am trying to work out
how to do it.

Anyone used any programs that work? (I hear that there is
a backup program on the windows disk will that work?)

Thanks

Visit the support web site of the manufacturer of your hard drive
and download their disk utility. Most have a disk cloning=20
utility as part of the over-all disk utility. I have used=20
Western Digital's LifeGuard utility to clone a disk and=20
it worked very well.=20
