Thrustmaster T2

Having recently installed XP, I find I can't reinstall my
Thrustmaster T2 steering wheel/pedals combination. I keep
getting a message that it is "not connected". I've
checked the physical connection and everything looks
fine. I work in electronics, so I think I would spot a
bent connector pin. I've use Trouble Shooter and it was
of absolutely no help.

If I remember correctly there were two part numbers for this wheel and one
of them didn't work unless you had a special adapter. Did you wheel come
with one of these adapters and is that adapter connected between the
gameport and wheel connector?
