Hi Camper,
I use Nero Burning ROM version 5.5.8.3.
The problem is not with burning software, rather, when this happens
the PC does not see ANY CD whether it is inserted in the CD writer
(LITEON LTR-48125W) drive or the DVD drive (LITEON DVD-ROM LTD 163D)
Windows Explorer displays icons for both drives but when I click on
either drive I get an error saying
"x:\ is not accessible. Access is denied,"
(where x represents that drive's assigned drive letter.
If I run Nero, it doesn't see the drive either. It only displays the
image recorder virtual device.
I do have the NeroSVC service but it makes no difference whether it is
running or not.
If I remove both drives in device manager and tell XP to scan for new
devices, XP will detect the drived and load drivers for them but when
I open Windows explorer I get the same error message.
Any thoughts?
Sorry about the subject line, IO hadn't realised that I had left it
blank.
Cheers
TonyS.
