Hi,

Try this way:

First, change the display to VGA mode and then go to
control panel, click the add or remove program icon and
remove the nvidia drivers.

After reboot, install the downloaded WHQL 40.72 drivers.
You may try the 44.03 drivers but it is intended for the
GeFore FX family. I have installed this drivers for my
GeForce Ti 4200 display card without any problems.
Although during the installation process, windows said it
is not WHQL certified but it still installed the drivers
and run smoothly.

Hope it helps.
For email, remove the first letter m from the email
address.
