Hi,

My system is having to recover from a lot of serious
errors lately. The screen freezes during some basic
operation, there seems to be no particular correlation
here. After this the system either restarts by itself or
just does nothing in which case I have to ctr-alt-delete
to restart.

Upon restart, I get the 'System Has Recovered From Serious
Error' message, and also a more specific error message -

"The driver for the display device was unable to complete
a drawing operation. Please check with the device
manufacturer for a driver update.

The display driver for NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400 seems to
be responsible for the system instability."

Now I know it seems obvious what the problem is here, but
I'm looking for someone out there who may have some more
experience in this situation. Firstly, I am not currently
hooked up to the net with the computer that has the
problem, so I can't just download drivers straight off.
The computer with internet access doesn't have a CD writer
so I can't transfer any new driver across.

This has started happening since installing and using
Macromedia Studio MX, though it happens when I'm using any
number of programs - Photoshop, Media Player. Has Studio
MX screwed up my graphics driver? Gah!

Most of all, I need to know if its safe to continue using
the computer and risk the crash or if I should cool it
until I get the driver.

Thanks for any help.
