While working with an Illustrator 9.0.1 file I had=20
Dreamweaver MX running. When I closed Illustrator and=20
resumed working with Dreamweaver MX a window prompt=20
appeared within the Dreamweaver MX interface saying that=20
the "current file has been changed or deleted from an=20
outside source would you like to save the file?". I=20
opted to save the file only to find all my files wiped=20
out from the Site folder. I have been working directly=20
with a snap server networked to about 5 different=20
computers. Only two out of those computers have been=20
accessing the Site folders in the past. I am very sure=20
that our computers have not been using the files=20
simultaneously since I was the only person in the office=20
at the time. I opened the snap server to find the Site=20
folder still there yet when I opened the folder all of=20
it's contents were missing. I right clicked the folder=20
to check the properties when the folder was last=20
updated. The time it was modified was about 10-15=20
minutes before I resumed working with Dreamweaver ( so=20
the files were deleted while I was working with my=20
Illustrator files). I also checked if any other folders=20
have been deleted. Only one other folder had the same=20
problem: It was available yet the content within the=20
folder had been wiped clean as well.
So here's the problem in review:
