I am currently beating my head against the wall of a
computer running Windows XP Professional. The computer
in question has a Sony DSC-S30 digital camera attached to
it. When I logon as administrator, and plug in the
camera to the USB port, it is detected properly and
assigned a drive letter (F:) which I can then access
through Explorer.
When I logon as a user who is part of the local
Administrators group and plug in the camera, it is
detected but does not show up as a drive letter.
If I first logon as administrator, and then logon as the
user, the camera shows up. If I restart the computer and
just logon as the user and plug in the camera, it is not
assigned a drive letter.
If anyone knows what is going on, please help!!! Please
