I'm having a similar problem on my Toshiba laptop. That
being that my monitor keeps turning off on its own. If I
hit the senser button on the laptop (the one that is
designed to sense when the screen is closed) the monitor
will come back on, but many times a minute or two later
it goes out again. After I do go through this procedure a
number of times the monitor will finally stay on. I have
checked the power profiles and have tried changing them
to always stay on and a few other settings but the
problem persists.
